Why? Because as awesome and wonderful as the message of Ephraim and Judah being re-gathered together by Yahweh is, that message does not uncover, proclaim or open the way for the healing and deliverance of God to set free His people from the various powers of darkness still working in our very midst, in this very age and hour, against the people of God. And, as much as many Messianics like to believe that their “higher obedience” or “greater knowledge” shields us from the enemy’s attacks, this is simply not the case. There is still MUCH undetected enemy activity ocurring…resulting in much division, contention, strife…and even sicknesses and diseases that are spiritually rooted and not just due to physical or nutritional causes.
Thus the necessity and the benefit of this Spirit-birthed book: “Recognizing the Real Enemy“.
So, what is it about? What is so significant about it that we do not already know?
Here’s a brief summary:
Most believers know that the Bible says “…for we wrestle not against flesh and blood…” But, if we say that “we know this”, then why are there so many believers, made of flesh and blood, blaming, resenting and fighting one another?
Maybe it’s because we are not realizing enough that those negative “thoughts and feelings” do not come “just from us”…but from living beings that are unseen.
We are not realizing enough that unholy thoughts, feelings, desires and reasons did not originate “from us” or from what is said to be “our sinful nature”…just as holiness does not originate “from us”. If our holi-ness comes from the Holy Spirit, would our un-holi-ness not also come from un-holy spirits?
I submit that we do not understand enough “the sin that dwells in the flesh”. It is alive, and does what we do not want to do… unless we recognize the real, spiritual enemies behind “the flesh”.
We can fight and defeat these living enemies but not if we do not recognize them as separate from us, although they may well be in us or acting out through us.
Most books, teachers and ministers simply tell us what to do, what not to do and to “control our flesh”. But this only leads to frustration, failure and inconsistency. This is because they do not deal with the “actual doers” or the “true sources” of the thoughts, feelings, urges and actions that we are told to “control”.
Let us accurately identify “our problem”, or rather, our real enemy. Scripture tells us that your adversary is the devil (1 Peter 5:8)…and not any flesh-and-blood person. We are told that we wrestle spiritual wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). We are also told that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal (2 Corintians 10:4). This makes sense, for we wrestle not a carnal adversary but a spiritual one. Many individual ones, in fact: the non-omnipresent devil…AND his army.
Yet, we do have a dilemma, for it is flesh and blood believers that do all manner of spiritual wickedness. The problem is that we “lump together” the person with the wickedness and think we deal with a “wicked person”. And, momentarily, that is true.
The key is that we must recognize that there is a wicked spirit, of some sort, influencing the person into thinking, feeling and doing the wickedness. This is the exact reverse of the Holy Spirit influencing us into holy thoughts, feelings and actions.
This unique book, in simple language, clarifies the Biblical keys to real victory over “sin and the flesh” that have been in the Scriptures all along.
Read and be amazed at the simple and effective truths that allow us to recognize, and then defeat, the real spiritual enemy, without having to wrestle with “flesh and blood” believers…which is actually SIN that, unbeknownst to us, has been short-circuiting our obedience and compliance with Yahweh, and thus bringing many curses upon us and distancing us from the very blessings we need and seek (Deuteronomy 28).
